Classic Standard Neck Ties

  The idea for this necktie came from two distinct elements:  An oil-cloth trucker jacket and a classic American knit tie.  What struck me about both of these was how distinctly American they were, from both the standpoint of their styling and functionality.  And, a thought occurred to me:  Why can’t I combine these two things?  I sought to bring about a complete shift in how men viewed their neckwear.  I was interested to see how these ties, made from more utilitarian fabrics like denim and duck cloth, would age.  How can a necktie be an “heirloom” piece worthy of being handed down from generation to generation?  First, the style had to be classic in nature so as to not be dated.  Second, it had to be constructed sturdy enough to withstand decades of use. And, finally, and perhaps most importantly, it had to look better as it aged.  I believe that I have accomplished this.  Now it’s time to spread the word.
